                    The Portugal News 31/5/2019
The cooperation between Portugal and China led Chinese companies to invest over €8 billion in 2018 in Portuguese assets.
According to the deputy director of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Tian Dewen: “The pragmatic cooperation between the two countries has had very good results,” Dewen said at a conference on the theme.

The tight economic cooperation between the two countries is considered a novelty in their diplomatic relations: “The two countries have a strong consensus against trade protectionism and unilateralism, both supporting an open global economy,” Dewen said.
